Normally ‘selfcleaning systems’ require overpressure for flushing. The ‘Flowtrec Strainer’ can also work in underpressure systems. Furthermore is the ‘FLOWTREC STRAINER’ able to handle and process high viscous liquids.
The ‘FLOWTREC STRAINER’ can also initially be implemented as a substitute and replacement for the conventional Y-type strainer or T-type strainer, however offering much better flow dynamics, resulting in lower initial differential pressure. Depending on process this same “FLOWTREC STRAINER’ can be easily modified (if not selected in first instance) to a selfcleaning device with different cleaning methods and cleaning actuating mechanisms.
The main features and advantages are :
• compact system and cleaning on-line, without stopping the process flow
• optimum flow dynamics and lower dP compared to Y-type or T-type strainer or any selfcleaning system
• from basic strainer direct changeable to automatic cleaning system for low- and high viscous liquids
• cleaning types available by process requirement by contact cleaning or contactless cleaning
• automatic cleaning by E-motor, pneumatic cilinder or manual by handwheel
• all (direction) horizontal, vertical flow and all direction cleaning flush
• surface filtration with filter ratings from 10 micron and up
• all types executed in single housing with single or double (parallel) capacity or two-phase (series) filtration
• construction materials in carbon steel, stainless steel duplex, super duplex, bronze or aluminium bronze
• operational temperature up to 300°C
