Packed Bed Scrubber
The Packed Bed Scrubber (vertical or horizontal) is a filtering device for the reduction or elimination of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) by washing liquid (water).
Polluted air is washed by water to remove water soluble chemical compounds. Entrapment of the VOC’s takes place within the packed bed over a broad contact surface. If water soluble properties of the pollutant is poor then chemical reagents can be applied to achieve the required degree of removal of the pollutant. The Packed Bed Scrubber can be designed and executed as a static packed bed scrubber or as a floating packed bed scrubber. As a floating packed bed scrubber the system is able to handle some dust laden air aswell.
When pollutant laden air with VOC’s combined with a high load of dust then a two stage system can also be implemented or alternative with a venturi scrubber.
The sizing parameter mainly depend on the flow rates, temperatures, the pollutants type, pollutant sizing and the total load of the pollutants.

Venturi Scrubber
The Venturi Scrubber is a filtering device mainly purposed for the reduction or elimination of dust/powder particles or solid pollutants.
Polluted air is washed by water to remove the the particles and at some degree water soluble chemical compounds. Entrapment takes place within the throat and diverging section of the scrubber. If water soluble properties of the VOC’s pollutant is poor then chemical reagents can be added to improve removal.
As the Venturi Scrubber is more effective in particle reduction, the combination with the packed bed scrubber is often applied where the Venturi Scrubber is implemented as the first stage.

Thermal Oxidizer
A Thermal Oxidizer/combuster is a system which eliminates VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and odors and other (chemical) pollutants
by thermal oxidation.
Our Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) is designed to retain the heat from the combustion chamber by ceramic fillings, in order to reduce the overall energy consumption of the system.
Our RTO allows for the oxidation by a temperature from 700°C – 900°C and when the system is running at full load, the heat produced by the exothermic oxidation reaction is sufficient to maintain the temperature of the combustion chamber at the desired value without the addition of auxililiary fuel (gas). Released into atmosphere are inert materials, like carbon dioxide and vapour.
The Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers systems are always process customized. Efficiences achievable 95% – 99%.

Activated Carbon
This is our filtration system to absorb and physically remove pollutants and odors by activated carbon.
The molucules of VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) are absorbed by the activated carbon which can be chemical treated in order to achieve most efficient bonding for capturing these pollutants.
The pollutant laden air will be directed and passed through an activated carbon bed and the adsorption capacity is proportional to the mass of the carbon (dwell time) and related to the type and concentration of the pollutant, aswell as the humidity, temperature and physical shape of the activated carbon itself.
Activated carbon filters are particularly suitable for the reduction of VOC’s in general, but also for a widespread use of diodorization of industrial disturbing nuisant, annoying or excessive gaseous components.
The modularity of our systems allows us to meet any requirement in terms of volumes to be treated.
